How do you get ready to move? Here are some tricks and tips.

Pack uniformly-sized boxes, and avoid overpacking!

Your moving truck's size should determine what size boxes you should buy.

A box of the same size stacks more easily, I can assure you! Just make sure you don't overload them.

Stacking and moving your boxes will be easier when the weight is evenly distributed.

Make sure you wrap everything in bubble wrap!

Do not damage valuables.

Before you leave, make sure that they are unpacked and in good condition.

Install your utilities before you move!

Planning and packing for your move in the days ahead can be stressful and hectic.

The last thing you want is for your utilities and internet to go down the drain before you move.

Being present when your new residence's internet is set up is a great idea if you're dependent on the internet like me.

Using this tool, you can test your internet to make sure it is functioning properly, even if the tech is not present.

This will prevent any issues that may arise if the tech forgets to come to your house.

10 Start packing your kitchen & bathroom as soon and as possible!

Don't forget to pack these rooms! Use paper and plastic dishes to wrap silverware.

You should do something each day.

Although it is slow and steady, you can still purge.

Purging can be done once a day or every few weeks.

Reduce packaging material consumption by recycling them.

Instead of buying moving boxes and bubble wrap, ask your friends to help find recycled boxes.

Put your belongings in your own bags, suitcases, and drawers.

It can be used as a cushion for delicate items like dishes, linens, and clothing.

If you need packing materials, they should be prepared in advance.

You don't want to leave behind packing tape or moving blankets.

Bring a bag, and treat your move as a vacation.
